Second National Annual Meeting
Frisco, Colorado
August 2, 2002

President David “Farf” Good called the meeting to order at 10:04 p.m. at Back County Brewery in Frisco, Colorado.

Twenty-one members were in attendance and one member left shortly after the meeting started.

There were no previous meeting minutes since this was our first national annual meeting.

Officers’ Reports
President: “Farf” is very pleased to see USA Deaf Disc Golf Association (USADDGA) founded and one of his dreams come true.  The present officers are currently serving a one-year term while we formulate our by-laws. Officers can then be re-elected to serve another term.

Vice-President: Shayan “Alien” Kermanti is working on developing the by-laws for USADDGA. If the members wish to make any comments regarding USADDA organization, see Shayan.

Secretary/Treasurer: Chris Preston is pleased to be a part of the executive board of USADDGA and is looking forward to working in a team to develop a stronger organization.  We currently have 51 members and will see it grow!

Tournament Director: Kevin Harrer has no report to make except that he is busy preparing the tournament as chairperson for our Second Annual National Deaf Disc Golf Tournament.

New Business:

Corey Driscoll moved and seconded to recognize USA Deaf Disc Golf Association as the name of organization. Passed unanimously.

Ian Jones moved and seconded to recognize David “Farf” Good, President, Shayan “Alien” Kermanti, Vice-President, Chris Preston, Secretary/Treasurer, and Kevin Harrer, Tournament Director as officers for USADDGA for this current term until the election for National Deaf Disc Golf Tournament in 2003. Passed unanimously.

Stan Booth moved and seconded that USADDGA officers take the responsibility of maintaining the DeafDiscGolf.com website and allowing expenditure of funds to cover the cost for the use of a server.  Passed unanimously.

Eric Calbert moved and seconded that USADDGA to be affiliated with the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA).  Passed unanimously.

Ricky Cornish moved and seconded that USADDGA’s annual membership dues shall be $20 for the calendar year.  Passed majority.

Tom Bright moved and seconded that the National Deaf Disc Golf Tournament 2003 will be held in Southern California.  Passed unanimously.

Jeff “Black Wolf” Roberts moved and seconded that the National Deaf Disc Golf Tournament 2004 will be held in Georgia.  Passed unanimously.

Fred McKinley moved and seconded that the annual meeting will take place during the USADDGA National Tournament weekend.  Passed unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:26 p.m.  See you next year in Southern California!
